Hello Joshua, While my blog might not be the best place to discuss the topic you mentioned, what’s happening here in Hungary is indeed worrisome. The problem isn’t when a country tries to find its own way. The problem arises when this approach leads nowhere due to inadequate vision, lack of consideration, and/or poor execution. Many of us feel that building fences is not the real solution. We should help people in need instead. However, we also recognize “The Importance of Setting Boundaries for Peaceful Coexistence” http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0095660 . I believe helping these people, as well as those at home, feel safe and hopeful would be the real solution. This would require an appropriate global vision and a coordinated strategy—something we desperately lack around here.
