Hello Joshua: perhaps my blog is not the appropriate place to discuss the topic you mentioned, but what happens here in Hungary is, in fact, worrisome. The problem is definitely not that a country, any country tries to figure out its own way: the problem is when this way leads nowhere because of inappropriate vision, lack of consideration and/or poor execution. In this special case, you and me and many other people feel that making fences is not the real solution when we should help people in need. However, we know “The Importance of Setting Boundaries for Peaceful Coexistence” http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0095660 as well. I think that helping these people and peoples at home, in order to feel safe and hopeful, would be the real solution. That would require appropriate global vision and precautionary coordinated strategy: this is what we desperately lack around here.
